Fish the mighty Exploits River for Atlantic Salmon or fish the calmer Great Rattling Brook – on our front doorstep – for tight lines. Day trips to the Northwest Gander River never disappoint. Record breaking runs of over 45,000 fish have hit our river system in the past couple of years.

The Great Rattling Brook is mainly a wading river while the Exploits is mostly fished from boat.

In Newfoundland all salmon fishing is done with wet/dry flies, predominantly used with a #7 to #9 fly rod.

2) Fishermen must have a valid fishing license. (Available at local vendor).
