Moose Hunting Information & Photos

Hunt the majestic moose in the heart of Newfoundland's big game paradise. Join us pre-rut and have a chance at them while they are still in the summer routine. The rut provides calling action you won't soon forget. Post rut is when the trophy bulls get more active and can be seen more, as they try to regain the body loss they incurred earlier the fall. Calling action can still be active on the bulls due to unbred cows.

Moose – 2nd week of September to the 2nd week of December.

Bow hunting only – Two weeks prior to the start of the rifle season. Please call for package availability and specials. References available upon request.

Hunters coming into Canada with firearms must fill out a firearm Declaration Registration Form. The fee for this form is $50.00 CAN and is good for one calendar year. You may contact the Canadian firearm center at 1-800-731-4000 to have the form mailed to you or you can visit ( http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca ) to print the form.
